Project
Al Khoud Villa
We let the materials carry the room: deep leather chesterfields worn into a study lined with riveted aviator furniture, dark walnut shelving that wraps a den in shadow and gold, rust and umber cushions breaking up spaces otherwise dressed in taupe and bone.
The residence was designed for retreat — a games room with a hand-built pool table under a ceiling scattered with pinpoint stars, a spa bathroom where a sunken jacuzzi sits beneath a skylight, a gym tucked behind sheer curtains and quiet oak paneling.
The bedrooms carry the same instinct: an arched niche cradles one headboard, backlit like a small chapel; another opens onto a wall of storm-veined marble that reads like a landscape at dusk.
Nothing here is loud. We layered every room — leather against stone, brass against walnut, rust against neutral linen — so the house doesn’t feel finished all at once. It feels gathered and curated over time, piece by piece.
