Project
Central Bank of Oman
Across the Central Bank of Oman’s headquarters, we paired institutional scale with everyday ease: a spiral staircase beneath a circular glass oculus anchors the building, while sculptural red fins mark the breakout lounge and set it apart from the surrounding workstations.
The open-plan floors move between structured black-and-red workstations and softer meeting rooms with mesh-back chairs and greenery, while the cafeteria opens onto full-height windows and the neighbourhood beyond.
In the reception and lounge areas, tufted leather chairs, warm marble, and brass-inlaid wood panelling bring a quieter, more human register to a building built for scale.
The Central Bank of Oman has served as the country’s principal monetary authority since 1975, overseeing the Omani Rial and the stability of the national financial system.
