Kyriad Hotel
We anchored the arrival sequence around a fretwork brass-and-timber feature wall behind the reception desk, framed by dark wood columns and crystal-strand pendants that give the lobby its warmth.
That vocabulary of walnut, brass, and marble in cream and black-gold continues through the corridors, before guest rooms shift into a calmer register of navy upholstery, geometric textiles, and abstract art in blues and teals.
The shift is deliberate: arrival should feel like an event, and the guest rooms should feel like relief.
Kyriad belongs to the Kyriad Family under Louvre Hotels Group, a chain of more than 400 properties across five countries where each hotel is shaped by its local culture and the people who run it. That meant designing a lobby that reads as distinctly Omani first, and part of an international chain second.
