SSME (Salamander Solutions Middle East)
SSME’s work is translating a specialized heating technology into projects that engineers and ministries need to understand and sign off on, so the office had to double as a place for demonstration as much as daily work.
Rift-cut oak signage walls, charcoal metal-framed workstations, and slate-blue grid panelling carry through meeting rooms built for exactly that kind of explaining: black mesh chairs and long oak tables under ring pendant lighting, with a glass-walled corridor keeping every room visible and daylight moving between them rather than shut off.
Storage walls in matching oak and matte black keep the open-plan desks and pantry clear, so the space reads as precise — the same qualities the technology itself depends on.
Salamander Solutions Middle East LLC is the regional arm of Salamander Advanced Heater Solutions, developing electric heater cable technology used to improve oil and gas recovery. SSME established its Oman presence in 2024 and is now working with the Ministry of Energy and Minerals to evaluate that technology for heavy crude recovery — technical, high-stakes work that needed an office built for explaining itself clearly.
